Opeans' Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy

The safety of our people, protection of our environment and assets are the main focus. Our first priority is the prevention of avoidable emergencies but when they do occur, we respond swiftly, learn from each incident and improve our readiness. At ONL, we are aware of the need to protect life and prevent injuries. We attach unqualified importance to HSE in all our operational units.

ONL as a long-standing HSE commitment to the highest standards for the health and safety of our employees, customers, and contractors as well as to the protection of the environment in the communities in which we live and work. We apply HSE policies and rigorous standards throughout the company and company operations.

• Neat and danger-free environment is instrumental to good and sustained health. We make HSE precautions paramount.
• Every member of staff is adequately briefed and educated on the likely hazards of every job before commencement.
  
• Personal Protection Equipment (PPEs) applications are taken seriously and are therefore provided without restrain. The safety of ONL staff, clients and of the working environment is maintained through controlled and proper management of work environment.
  
• Opeans is conscious of its obligation to staff and clients at all time, necessary preventive measures are imbibed and embedded in ONL's HSE policy towards a sustained standard for protecting life and property.
  
• Regular drills, updated awareness instruction and regular PPEs inspection and mandatory on-duty policy compliance to control avoidable risk and injuries.
• Safety briefing is done on daily/weekly basis or as situation demands.
